Executive Summary
Korey Brownlee is President of Beverage-Air and Victory, two commercial refrigeration brands that sit inside Ali Group’s North American foodservice equipment business, which trades as Welbilt. He came up through operations. He joined in 2018 as a Senior Buyer and moved through purchasing management, operations leadership and general management before being named President from September 1, 2025. That route is unusual for a business-unit head in foodservice equipment, where the top job more often goes to someone from sales or finance. Ali Group’s chairman said when promoting him that his background across procurement, supply chain and operations gave him a comprehensive understanding of the business.

- Appointed General Manager of Beverage-Air and Victory in January 2025.
- Vice President of Operations from July 2024 and Director of Operations from September 2022.
- Promoted to Purchasing Manager in June 2019, a little over a year after joining.
- Joined the Beverage-Air and Victory procurement team as a Senior Buyer in April 2018.
Professional Journey
Brownlee joined the Beverage-Air and Victory procurement team in April 2018 as a Senior Buyer. Beverage-Air, based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, makes reach-in refrigerators and freezers, food preparation tables, merchandisers, bar equipment and blast chillers for restaurants and food retailers. Victory is a sister refrigeration brand managed alongside it. Both belong to Ali Group, the foodservice equipment group that operates in North America under the Welbilt brand.
His first promotion came in June 2019, to Purchasing Manager. In September 2022 he moved from buying into running production as Director of Operations, and in July 2024 he became Vice President of Operations. In January 2025 Welbilt named him General Manager of both brands, reporting to Group President Oscar Villa. Filippo Berti, Chairman and CEO of Ali Group, said Brownlee’s “extensive experience across procurement, supply chain and operations” had given him a comprehensive understanding of the business.
Eight months later, in an August 2025 announcement that also promoted another Welbilt executive, Ali Group said Brownlee would become President of Beverage-Air and Victory from September 1, 2025. He continued to report to Villa. The appointment completed a seven-year run from buyer to head of the business, all within the same two brands.
