Professional Journey
Wowcher, a London-based deals marketplace, was bought by DMG Media, the Daily Mail’s parent, in 2011. BusinessCloud, writing in 2020, described Kemble-Diaz as having founded the business with Roland Bryan that year, and credited it with more than 19 million subscribers and 8,000 live deals at the time; Wikipedia traces the original site back to 2009.
In 2015 DMG sold a majority stake in Wowcher to Exponent Private Equity, which combined it with the UK and Irish operations of LivingSocial to form Excalibur Group. Kemble-Diaz became a director of Excalibur Bidco and of LivingSocial Limited on 26 November 2015, joined the board of Excalibur Silver Bidco in 2017, and has been a director of Wowcher West Limited since it was incorporated in April 2019.
The group has since kept growing by acquisition. It bought the Glasgow deals site 5pm in 2025 and, in October 2025, Spabreaks.com, a spa booking platform founded in 2007; Kemble-Diaz was appointed to the boards of the Spabreaks companies on 6 October 2025, alongside Excalibur Group chief executive George Oborne. In August 2026 she also became a director of Spa Seekers Ltd.
