Professional Journey

Azevedo earned a degree in industrial engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo in 1995 and a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo in 1997, according to P&G. She joined the company as a marketing intern in Brazil on 15 January 1996, became an assistant brand manager for Feminine Care in 1998 and brand manager for Feminine Care in Brazil and Latin America in 2000.

She went on to marketing director roles in health and well-being and female beauty in Brazil, and to brand vice president roles in hair care and color and in Latin America color and Pantene. In 2013 she became senior vice president for Latin America beauty, hair and personal care, and in 2015 the global brand franchise leader for Feminine Care.

In 2018 she became senior vice president for Brazil, where P&G says she led multiple M&A transitions including Gillette, Wella and Coty, and in 2022 president of Latin America. In 2024 she became president of global Home Care and P&G Professional, and in 2026 chief executive of Grooming, the year the 10-K records her as first elected an officer.

P&G’s biography lists her inclusion in Bloomberg’s 500 Most Influential People in 2023 and Forbes’ Top 10 CEOs in Brazil in 2021. She is a board member of United Way International and a former chair of the boards of UNICEF Brazil and United Way Brazil. Procter & Gamble, based in Cincinnati, reported net sales of $87.0 billion for the fiscal year ended 30 June 2026, according to its 10-K.
