Executive Summary
Ivan Bagaric has been CEO of Solvares Group since January 2023. Solvares, headquartered in Heikendorf near Kiel, builds scheduling, route and resource optimisation software for field service, field sales and logistics, and has grown by acquisition. Bagaric came to the job from the group’s own Advisory Board and from a background weighted toward M&A, purchasing and legal rather than sales or engineering, which fits what has happened since: a private equity investment by Five Arrows and funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in December 2024, the acquisition of UK-based More-IQ in February 2026, and a merger with the British field workforce software company Totalmobile announced the same month.

- Previously CEO of Blackbelt XP, an Amsterdam-based cloud and digitalisation consultancy.
- Spent eight years at PTV Group, latterly heading Purchasing, M&A, Legal and Transformation as part of the Executive Board.
- Lecturer in Strategic Purchasing at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
Professional Journey
Bagaric’s career has centred on the operating machinery of software companies: strategy, M&A, processes and legal. He spent eight years at PTV Group, the Karlsruhe transport planning and logistics software company, in a series of positions ending as head of Purchasing, M&A, Legal and Transformation as a member of the Executive Board. He then became CEO of Blackbelt XP, an Amsterdam-based consultancy specialising in the optimisation of cloud and digitalisation processes. Alongside these roles he has lectured in Strategic Purchasing at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
In 2020 he joined the Advisory Board of Solvares Group, and on 1 January 2023 he moved into operational management as CEO. At his appointment the company described a group of 339 employees across ten locations in five countries, assembled from subsidiaries including FLS, impactit in Vienna, Städtler Logistik in Nuremberg, Opheo Solutions in Hamburg and mobileX in Munich, and set him the task of sharpening its strategy and merging those subsidiaries into one business.
That consolidation has proceeded in stages. In December 2024 Five Arrows and funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG invested in Solvares. In 2025 the group reorganised around two segments and in November launched the Solvares Field Service and Solvares Logistics brands. In February 2026 it announced the acquisition of More-IQ, a UK resource optimisation company, and on 24 February 2026 a merger with Totalmobile, which the same investors had acquired after regulatory approval; the combined business was described as more than 800 people serving over 4,000 customers across Europe, the UK and Australasia. The merger announcement presented Bagaric as CEO of Solvares Group and Phil Race as CEO of Totalmobile. In May 2026, still as CEO of Solvares Group, he announced the integration of the Solvares Field Service VISITOUR scheduling engine with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service, which he said would accelerate the group’s expansion in North America.
Education
The company describes him as a business graduate with a degree in Business Administration; the institution is not named in any source found.
