Nagar’s career before Acceldata was spent in distributed data infrastructure. Available records place him at TransBit Technologies Software and at [24]7, the customer-engagement company now trading as [24]7.ai, before Hortonworks — the company built around enterprise Hadoop that became the common thread among Acceldata’s founders. He also contributed to Apache Software Foundation projects, which is consistent with the open-source-heavy world Hortonworks operated in. Hortonworks is where the founding team formed.
