Executive Summary

Elan Greenberg is Chief Executive Officer of Augury, a New York-headquartered industrial AI company whose platform listens to machines and production processes to predict failures, cut downtime and raise yield for manufacturers such as PepsiCo, DuPont and Colgate-Palmolive in more than 40 countries. He arrived as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to CEO in October 2025, taking over from co-founder Saar Yoskovitz, who became Executive Chairman. He is an operator rather than a founder: before Augury he ran operations at Flock Safety and a business line at DoorDash, and he began his career in Morgan Stanley’s M&A group and in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Career Highlights

  • Chief Executive Officer of Augury since October 2025, promoted from Chief Operating Officer.
  • Joined Augury as COO at the time of its $75 million Series F, led by Lightrock, which kept the company’s valuation above $1 billion.
  • Previously Chief Operating Officer of Flock Safety, a late-stage, device-enabled SaaS platform for public safety.
  • Earlier General Manager of DoorDash’s Non-Restaurants platform.
  • Began his career in the M&A group at Morgan Stanley and in the United States Marine Corps.

Professional Journey

Greenberg started in two very different institutions: the mergers and acquisitions group at Morgan Stanley, and the United States Marine Corps. He then moved into high-growth technology operations. At DoorDash he was General Manager of the Non-Restaurants platform, the part of the business extending delivery beyond restaurant meals, and at Flock Safety, which sells camera hardware and software to public safety agencies, he served as Chief Operating Officer. Augury summarises that period as helping scale category-leading businesses by solving complex operating problems with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Augury announced him as Chief Operating Officer in February 2025, in the same release as a $75 million Series F round led by Lightrock with Insight Partners, Eclipse, Qumra Capital, SE Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures, which kept the company’s valuation above $1 billion. Founded in 2011, Augury had built its business on machine health: sensors and AI that detect developing faults in rotating equipment before they stop a production line, later extended into process health.

In October 2025 the company announced a new executive team. Greenberg became CEO; Yoskovitz moved to Executive Chairman to focus on product vision, strategic partnerships and customer relationships; and Augury added a new Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Financial Officer and heads of partnerships and marketing. In March 2026 Greenberg added new product and engineering leadership, arguing that AI had become capable of connecting technology directly to operational outcomes. Under him Augury has repositioned from machine monitoring towards what it calls an Industrial AI Workforce, role-based AI agents built on an “industrial context graph” that ties machine signals to process and operational data, and in August 2026 it was included for the first time in Gartner’s Market Guide for Asset Performance Management Software.
