Professional Journey

Flowers earned a BS in finance and entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona and an MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He began his career in Wholesale Banking in lending and strategic planning roles and led the corporate credit group within the Wells Fargo Securities Principal Investment Group.

He was chief credit and market risk officer for Wells Fargo Securities and Corporate Banking, then for the whole company, chairing its credit and market risk committees. From June 2019 he headed the Strategic Execution & Operations Office.

In January 2022 he became Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.
