Executive Summary

Dennis Thomas is Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of NeuraFlash, a consulting firm that builds AI-driven customer and employee experiences on Salesforce and Amazon Web Services. He started it with Brett Chisholm, now CEO, and Jim Hunt, now COO. NeuraFlash was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts. It grew to about 510 professionals across North America, Colombia and India, and was acquired by Accenture in a deal completed in September 2025. It now operates as NeuraFlash, part of Accenture, and still lists him as CTO & Co-Founder.

Career Highlights

  • Co-founded NeuraFlash with Brett Chisholm and Jim Hunt; the company named him as its CTO by 2019 (NeuraFlash, 2019).
  • CTO when NeuraFlash opened its wholly owned subsidiary in India in 2019, alongside hubs in New Jersey and San Francisco (NeuraFlash, 2019).
  • Spoke for the company on AWS: a March 2023 NeuraFlash video features him on using Amazon Web Services to navigate economic uncertainty, and he was listed as a speaker on its AWS re:Invent 2024 event page (NeuraFlash).
  • Remained CTO & Co-Founder through Accenture’s acquisition, announced on 27 August 2025 and completed on 29 September 2025 (Accenture newsroom, NeuraFlash).

Professional Journey

NeuraFlash began in 2016, when its co-founders, whose backgrounds by the company’s account included Nuance, Heywire and Salesforce, saw that businesses needed help putting AI to work in their customer operations. Thomas took the technology role, with Brett Chisholm as CEO and Jim Hunt as COO. The firm became a Salesforce consulting partner specialising in chatbots, Einstein AI, Service Cloud and digital channels, and its site now also presents Amazon Connect and AWS solutions.

By October 2019 NeuraFlash was based in Boston with hubs in New Jersey and San Francisco, and had opened NeuraFlash India, a wholly owned subsidiary led by Anuj Gupta that had passed 30 employees within a year. Thomas became one of the company’s public voices on the AWS side: in March 2023 NeuraFlash published a video of him discussing how businesses could use Amazon Web Services to cut costs and stay adaptable in a downturn, and he was listed as a speaker on its AWS re:Invent 2024 page.

On 27 August 2025 Accenture announced it would acquire NeuraFlash to strengthen its Salesforce, generative AI and managed services work and to reach more mid-market clients. Accenture said the firm had delivered more than 1,000 implementations for over 400 customers, and that about 510 professionals with more than 2,000 certifications would join Accenture’s Salesforce Business Group. Terms were not disclosed. The deal closed on 29 September 2025. NeuraFlash has kept its name and site as “NeuraFlash, part of Accenture”, and its leadership page still lists Thomas as CTO & Co-Founder.
