Professional Journey

Kennedy earned an honours degree in Business Studies at the University of Limerick in 1998, the year he joined Dell, and gained the ACMA management accountancy qualification in 2001, according to his Dell biography. His early career there included finance, sales, business unit and international leadership roles, with more than ten years based in Ireland and India.

From April 2017 to February 2020 he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of the Client Solutions Group, the business that sells Dell’s PCs and peripherals.
