He arrived in September 2024, when Madison Dearborn Partners made a strategic growth investment in the founder-built company, and he has since added the cybersecurity firm Maveris and renamed the combined business. He did the same kind of job before: at Dovel Technologies he grew a federal IT services company to over 2,000 employees and $450 million in revenue before its sale to Guidehouse in 2021.

Professional Journey
Griggs made his name in federal technology services at Dovel Technologies, which he led as chief executive. Dovel grew to more than 2,000 employees and $450 million in revenue, investing in talent and making acquisitions, and was acquired by Guidehouse in October 2021. In those years Dovel was named Greater Washington GovCon Contractor of the Year in 2020, Growth Company of the Year for companies over $250 million in 2021, and a Washington Post Top Workplace in 2021. Griggs was an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021 Mid-Atlantic award winner.
In September 2024 Madison Dearborn Partners completed a strategic growth investment in Harmonia Holdings Group, and Griggs joined as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Harmonia had been founded in 2006 at Virginia Tech’s Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg by Pallabi Saboo, Jai Saboo and Marc Abrams, who stayed on in advisory and leadership roles. By then it was based in McLean and worked for agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Agriculture, the Census Bureau, the FDIC and the Department of Defense. “Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for our business, our clients, and our employees,” Griggs said at the time.
His first acquisition came in January 2025, when Harmonia added Maveris to strengthen its cybersecurity work and its relationships with the Department of Veterans Affairs. “Harmonia and Maveris fit together perfectly given our complementary capabilities and aligned culture,” he said, “and this strategic combination is a huge step in our growth journey.” Financial terms were not disclosed.
In April 2026 the combined company took the name Revolutional, and Maveris now operates under that name too. Griggs presented the name as a statement of what federal customers need: agencies, he said, are being asked “to modernize faster, defend critical systems against evolving threats, and make better use of data to support mission delivery,” and Revolutional applies “advanced technology solutions, including AI and cybersecurity” to those demands. Its leadership team now includes co-founder Marc Abrams as Chief Technology & Transformation Officer, and it is organized around national security and defense, federal health, civilian services and veterans affairs.
Outside the company, Griggs sits on several industry boards and volunteers with American Corporate Partners, mentoring veterans who are moving into the private sector.
