Professional Journey
Data Dimensions has been in business since 1982. It started as a document processing company, turning paper mail, medical bills and records into structured data for insurers, pharmacies, manufacturers and government agencies. In January 2020 Thompson Street Capital Partners of St. Louis bought it from HealthEdge Investment Partners, when Jon Boumstein was President and CEO. By August 2021 Doyle held that title, although no company source reviewed gives the date he took it.
His years in charge moved the company toward electronic data interchange for property and casualty insurance, and especially workers’ compensation. In August 2021 Data Dimensions completed its combination with WorkCompEDI. Doyle called WorkCompEDI’s technology suite, combined with Data Dimensions’ scale and automation offerings, “an enormous opportunity”. That October the combined business took a single brand, which Doyle described as joining “two companies that together will provide our clients with an industry partner that is truly aligned with their enterprise goals”.
The October 2022 acquisition of Providerflow added the provider side. Providerflow’s tools connected electronic health record systems to the clearinghouse, so claim attachments and bills could move electronically from provider to payer. “The traditional P&C clearinghouse is antiquated,” Doyle said when the deal was announced. The same platform supported a December 2023 partnership with Greenway Health, which launched Greenway Document Manager on Providerflow for ambulatory practices. In January 2025 TRISTAR Risk Management extended its long relationship with Data Dimensions into EDI billing, using what the company called the largest EDI network in workers’ compensation.
In March 2026 One Call, a care coordination company in the same market, agreed to acquire Data Dimensions. Doyle said the two companies had worked closely together “for decades” and called the integration “a natural progression of combined strengths”. The deal closed in April 2026, and the completion announcement said Doyle would become Chief Business Officer. One Call’s leadership page now lists him in that role.
