Purushothaman earned a BS in computer science and engineering from the University of Madras and a master’s degree in human resources from the Xavier Labour Relations Institute, both in 1992, and joined P&G on 1 July 1992 as a management trainee in human resources in Mumbai, according to the company. His organization focuses on organization design and culture, talent development and the employee experience, including wellbeing programs.
He served on the compensation committee of GS1 US from 2012 to 2018 and on the community advisory board of Hoxworth Blood Center from 2011 to 2017, according to his company biography.
