Executive Summary

Allison Page is co-founder and Chief Product Officer of SevenRooms, the guest experience and retention platform used by restaurants, hotels, membership clubs, nightclubs and other hospitality operators. She founded the company in New York in 2011 with Joel Montaniel and Kinesh Patel, on the premise that the systems operators used to run service were missing their most valuable ingredient: data about the guest. She has owned product strategy and user experience design from the start, taking the product from reservations and table management into marketing, loyalty, online ordering and revenue management. In June 2025 DoorDash completed its acquisition of SevenRooms, which now operates as a DoorDash company, and she continues to be listed as CPO.

Professional Journey

Page studied finance and real estate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and started her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse.

In 2011 she co-founded SevenRooms in New York with Joel Montaniel and Kinesh Patel. The company’s founding story is that hospitality operators were running their businesses on systems that ignored guest data, and the founders set out to put that data at the centre of the reservation, seating and guest management workflow so that personalisation could scale without losing the human part of hospitality. The name comes from Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter’s “seven rooms” theory, in which the seventh room is the place that makes you feel at home and treats you like a regular.

As Chief Product Officer, Page directed product strategy and user experience design as the platform spread internationally. By 2020 Cornell University described the product as running in more than 100 cities, with clients including Jumeirah Hotels, TopGolf and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and with venture backing from Amazon’s Alexa Fund and Comcast Ventures. The product has since grown into three hubs — marketing, guest experience and operations — covering CRM and marketing automation, reservations and waitlists, loyalty, reputation management, table and revenue management, online ordering and voice AI.

In May 2025 DoorDash agreed to acquire SevenRooms to extend its commerce platform with reservation, table management and CRM tools for merchants, and completed the acquisition on 13 June 2025. SevenRooms continues to operate under its own name as a DoorDash company, and its executive team page lists all three co-founders in their roles, with Page as CPO and Co-Founder.
